To our valued NetMaster customers:
The NetMaster team made two enhancements that make it easier for you to work with VIPA resources.
First, we updated the VIPA monitor (/VIPAMON) to include Origin - the type of definition that is used to create a VIPA resource - as a column in the initial display panel. Knowing the origin of a VIPA resource is a valuable troubleshooting tool for Network Administrators and Network Engineers, who can now, at a glance, see the origin of a VIPA resource without having to open the VIPA Detail Display. The Origin column in NetMaster 13.0 replaces the Class column.
Second, we added validation to the process of associating VIPA resources with system images. When you manually add a dynamic VIPA resource to a system image, the following error message displays If you enter an invalid dynamic VIPA address:
RMRS0307 [xx.xxx.xxx.xx] is not a dynamic VIPA known to stack [TCPIPxxx]
To take advantage of these enhancements, apply PTF LU17495.
