We are trying to determine what the performance impact would be to use LOG on rules. We understand there is overheard but Broadcom cannot provide metrics as to what that is. We have routinely used LOG in justifiable circumstances but recently we have had a steadily increasing need to add LOG, even if for short periods of time (30-60 days). If there is a performance impact does anyone know how to observe it?
