We have set up a new pair of mailgates to version 10.9.0-1 because our existing pairs of mailgates were created on an older version of the software and cannot upgrade to the latest version. I created the new pair with the Control Center Scanner and added another scanner to it. My question is this, when we restore a backup from one of our existing pairs of mailgates, only the Control Center/Scanner takes on the name of the old mailgate. The linked scanner keeps the name that I gave it when I created it. Is this how the restore works? If this is the case, do I just rename the new scanner to match what we restored? This question is we want to keep the same names of our existing mailgate pairs. Please let me know what you guys think and if you have any questions with what we are doing.
