Subject: RE: Upgrade Readiness "Precheck" must be declared error
The URT tool is encountering script errors. These errors indicate missing procedures or insufficient privileges. Double-check the script for typos and ensure the readiness user has the necessary database permissions. Consider creating a support case, even if your environment is on 15.7, as Broadcom might provide guidance or workarounds.

Subject: Upgrade Readiness "Precheck" must be declared error
Hello all, in a recent project I had the following errors in the URT Tool report:
Data Objects Check Summary: There are total of 9 warnings and 0 errors.
For details about the Update Readiness Tool output messages and troubleshooting information, see "Reviewing update readiness results" in the Data Loss Prevention online help.
Precheck.check_sys_privileges(p_passed => l_passed,p_cursor => l_cur);

We have checked password constraints - even changed the password for the readiness user to something quite simple and changed the schema user to something without special characters.
All necessary rights have been given. Problem is, the testing environment of the customer is still on 15.7 (we want to upgrade soon) - so maybe we are not able to open a case on this.
Any help highly appreciated
Henning
