  • 1.  Unable to Log in to SiteMinder Admin UI Console

    Hi All,

    I have installed SiteMinder 12.8 on a Windows Server. Initially, I was able to log in to the Admin UI console without any issues. However, I am now unable to log in to the console using the correct username and password. Please find below the screenshot for the reference.

    Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

    Hi Idaya,

    I would try resetting the superuser password and restarting both the policy server and AdminUI service.  Use smreg -su on the policy server to reset the password (you may need to retrieve the smreg command since it is not installed by default).

    Hi Jaya,

    The smreg command is included in the zip file that was downloaded.  If you no longer have this file you can download it from here:

        After resetting the superuser password, a new error has appeared. Could you suggest alternative ways to resolve this issue?

    Hi Jaya,

    Reregister the AdminUI instance with the policy server by running the XPSRegClient command on the policy server.
