    To our valued NetMaster customers:

The NetMaster API Service includes three new endpoints that round out the range of Graphical Monitor (GMON) capabilities that are available in the API. While the initial GMON endpoints focused on resource groups and icon panels, the new endpoints provide visibility and command capabilities for individual resources.

    • The Get Resource endpoint retrieves details about a single resource, which does not necessarily need to be part of a resource group. All resource types are supported.
    • The Check Resource endpoint initiates a check (CHK) operation on a resource. All resource types are supported.
    • The Display Resource endpoint initiates a display (D) operation on a resource. Resources of type STACK, ASMON, and USRCLS are supported.

With the new endpoints, NetMaster API Service users can input region and resource ID information to easily retrieve information and perform commands, without having to drill through the GMON panels in the 3270 interface. To see detailed information about the new endpoints, refer to the Swagger documentation in the Reference section of the Use the REST API topic.

To enable the new endpoints, apply PTFs LU16593 and LU16594.

You can share ideas - such as additional API functionality - here, in Communities, or on the Broadcom Validate site for NetMaster.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely,
    The NetMaster Team
