To our valued NetMaster customers:
To simplify connection troubleshooting, the Connection event detector has been enhanced to include a count of window close events. Being able to view connections where window size is equal to "0" (which closes the window) is critical to troubleshooting connectivity issues.
With this enhancement, when you define a Connection-type event detector, the TCP/IP: Connection Criteria list includes the Window Close Count Over field, which specifies the combined number of local and remote window close events that will trigger an alert. A Window Close Count field is also available as one of the connection criteria for the List Connections (/CONNC) and the List Connections (Advanced) (/CONNCF) functions, enabling you to easily see connections with remote and local window close events.
For more information on how to set up an event detector, see
Configuring Event Monitoring.
For field-specific help, see the 3270 online help.
