    Greetings SYSVIEW community!

On behalf of the SYSVIEW product team, we are pleased to announce that the SYSVIEW Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and Language Environment (LE) component is enhanced. The enhancements provide additional monitoring insights and management for JVMs that are running on z/OS. The enhancements are delivered in Feature PTF LU16977.

Specifically, SYSVIEW is enhanced to provide the capability to display features that are installed and are active in a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Liberty server. The following list summarizes the enhancements.

    • New WLPFEAT Command: The command displays information about each feature that is active within a WAS Liberty server, including feature name and version. Note that the SYSVIEW JVM agent must be configured on the WAS Liberty server to use this command. For more information, see Configure WAS Liberty Monitoring.
    • Enhanced WLPLIST Command: The command contains a new line command: FEATURES. Use the line command to navigate from the selected WAS Liberty server to the new WLPFEAT command.

NOTE: The enhancements that PTF LU16977 delivers do not apply to SYSVIEW Essentials configurations of SYSVIEW Performance Management.

We value your business and thank you for using SYSVIEW!
