  • 1.  symantec policies not working with Win home desktop

    I'm experiencing an issue with Symantec Endpoint.
    I have a policy configured to block Internet access if the device is not connected to the company VPN.

    This policy has been working fine for the past year. However, today I discovered the following issue during a check:

    • On machines running Windows 11 Professional Edition (version 10.0.26100), the policy works correctly - no Internet access unless connected to the VPN.

    • However, on two machines running Windows 11 Home (version 10.0.22631) and Windows 10 Home (version 10.0.19045), the policy does not take effect - the devices can still access the Internet even without a VPN connection.

    I've attached a screenshot of the policy configuration for your reference.
