    Hi,

In a distributed Spectroserver environment, is there a way to encrypt Spectroserver to spectroserver setup?

I can see SpectroServer- OneClick but not SpectroServer - SpectroServer encryption in this KB: How to secure OneClick to SpectroSERVER communication

I could not find anything in this document also.

Installing DX NetOps Spectrum in a Distributed Environment

Please let me know if there is a way to do this.

    Regards
    Anu

I think the KB is self-explanatory.

If you want to encrypt SS to SS traffic you will need to create a secure tunnel at the network layer, this is because SS to SS communication uses SSAPI and not CORBA.

There are two documents referred at the end, they do not seem to be valid. I was hoping that would give some more details on how to go about wit  this

The documentation referred sections relate to configuration across firewalls and the ports that the application uses. The documentation does not specify how to setup SSL for SS to SS communication. As the KB states, this is not possible.

These are referenced from default product documentation page
