Subject: General Availability Announcement for REST API 12.1.07 for CA 7 Workload Automation 12.1

As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that CA 7 REST API 12.1.07 is now available.
CA 7 REST API is a capability of CA 7 12.1, providing users with a modern interface to interact with CA 7. This capability helps application developers and automation engineers to automate and integrate existing applications with CA 7 to develop custom solutions.
12.1.07 includes the following updates:
Important Software Requirements
- REST API 12.1.07 requires Java 17 to run. You must upgrade to Java 17 before installing this new release.
- The mainframe component of Datacom Server must be upgraded to release 15.1. (See the download Readme and/or Release Notes)
- If upgrading from a pre-12.1.06 release, PTF LU12649 is required.

Any client using the CA 7 REST API 12.1.06 (or older) release is strongly encouraged to migrate to the new 12.1.07 release.
