To see the connections in the topology, you need to run the discovery profile of the connected devices by enabling the "Discover Connections" checkbox. The document link below should help with this process.

At present, topology supports CDP and LLDP protocols for connection discovery.

Subject: Problem to observer all properties at DX Topology
I've implemented the new DX Topology app.I see that the devices are now visible in the DX Topology console, and alerts and CPU/MEMORY/AVAILABILITY usage are displayed. However, I can't see the connections between the network devices or the metrics for the interfaces themselves, as shown in the DX Topology dashboard.
