Performance VSE

Hi Team,

Can we run concurrent VSEs with one performance VSE copy license in 10.7.2 /10.8 ver. Can we install VSE in multiple servers and use at the same time.

Please let me know the details.

Hi @Rajasekhar Etikela.

Performance VSEs are licensed by concurrent copy.  Therefore if you are licensed for 1 performance VSE then you can only run one concurrently (ie. no other performance VSEs should be run at the same time). If you are licensed for 2 only 2 should be run concurrently, etc.  The official definitions around licenses/entitlements be found here.

@Rajasekhar Etikela there were some additional questions around my reply so I want to make sure it is clear.  As mentioned the official definitions around licenses/entitlements be found here.

If you are licensed for 2 Performance VSEs, only 2 Performance VSEs can be installed and running at the same time.  In this example, if you wanted to install and run 4 Performance VSEs at the same time you would need to purchase 2 additional Performance VSEs.
