Subject: Obsolete Features in NetMaster Network Management 13.0
We want to inform you about a change in our product direction that will affect your use of multiple features that are currently available in NetMaster 12.2 but that are being removed in NetMaster 13.0. After careful consideration, due to lack of use or technical obsolescence we will no longer provide support for the features listed below. We will remove the features listed below from NetMaster Network Management 13.0, effective at GA launch, December 2024. The "Mainframe Team Center, Network Management", "ReportCenter", and the "Mobile Charts" features will be replaced by the Network UI interface and historical reporting capabilities of the WatchTower platform.
The obsolete features are:
Advanced Translation Facility (ATF)
Inter-System Routing (ISR)
Internal Web Server including ReportCenter, MTC-NM, Mobile Charts
REXX-Based Installation Utility
Support for Non-z/OS Operating Systems
User Exits
Supplied External Security Management (ESM) Exits
Global Settings Parameter Groups
Obsolete SNA Parameter Groups
NCPView
SYSCONxx Console Management Parameters
AOM and SYSCMD Console Support Features
File Transfer Management support of CONNECT:Mailbox and SOLVE:FTS
Open Systems Adapter (OSA/SF)
System Console Consolidation and Message Learning
Support for SNAMS, CMIP, and OSI Network Management
Macro Definition and Maintenance
z/OS Message Suppression
System Maintenance Facilities (SMF) for Statistical Recording
