Subject: Now Available: Consuming REST APIs in COBOL/Batch applications
Scope includes:
Coming Soon*:
DB2 Attach Types: DLIBATCH and IMS_BMP
the capability to specify configuration overrides in a file, similar to the callrest.properties file for Java applications
support for TSOAE for testing
It is our intent to expand to other languages/platforms, add additional methods, and provide further enhancements based on user feedback. Within the "Add a Call REST Statement" documentation on TechDocs is a section called "OpenAPI Spec Caveat for Gen". This documentation describes the constructs within an OpenAPI specification that Gen does not support. We're eager to hear what functionality you want next. Please send feedback to me: Kim.Peelman@broadcom.com or post in the Ideas section for Gen.
*This is a forward-looking statement. This is subject to change at any time without notice. The development, release, and timing remain at Broadcom's sole discretion.
