    Allocate Community members,

    The Allocate DASD Space & Replacement development group is please to announce the enhancement to provide a new SYSPARM (PLSJESMG) to write messages to JESYSMSG DD is now GA!  With this enhancement, the output from Allocate WRITE statements can optionally be directed to the
    JESYSMSG DD.  To activate this function, the new SYSPARM
    PLSJESMG (Y) must be set in your CA Allocate VKGPARMS parmlib member.

    Thanks for sharing the update! This enhancement sounds like it will be a big help for those needing to direct output from Allocate WRITE statements to the JESYSMSG DD. I appreciate the clear instructions on how to activate the function using the PLSJESMG SYSPARM in the VKGPARMS parmlib member. I'll be sure to check out the TechDocs and PTF LU02183 for further details. Looking forward to giving this a try!
