  • 1.  Maximum PM alarms

    Dear Community, my client asks me the following:

    The maximum alarm processing capacity per minute for the NetOps Performance Management DX platform.

    Is there any documentation on this subject, or could you guide me on the subject?

    No real max.  It really comes down to vertica resources and scale of items and rules that determine max.  varies per customer.

    Keep an eye on eventing self monitoring dashboards, for percent of poll cycle.  When it reaches 80% for 15 mins, we disable threasholding.

    So keep an eye, and either beef up vertica nodes or cut down on threshold rules/profiles based on 80% check.

    Not explicitly, but we do talk about our limiter for thresholding engine.
