    Hi Datec,

Thanks for using the Broadcom Community!

To better assist you with this issue you'll need to work with your networking team to make sure that the outbound traffic from your On Prem SEPM manager is still allowed through the firewall.

This issue can occur when Firewall rules are reconfigured or a system proxy is changed to no longer allow this traffic to pass through.

Kindly refer to kb: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/151267/determine-whether-your-firewall-is-block.html to resolve this issue.

If additional assistance is required then kindly open a ticket with Support for further assistance.

    Best,

    Russ_V

    Hello.

    Thank you for your answers.

This happens only on my Windows 2012 Server.

    @Brad: Yes, I find a solution.

Install the Microsoft Easy Fix from this site: (under Update detail information)

Update to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as default secure protocols in WinHTTP in Windows - Microsoft Support

Restart Server and Liveupdate works. :)

    Greetings

    DATEC,

    Thanks for your response.

I'm glad that resolved your issue.

Also as an FYI, back on May 1, 2025 - TLS 1.0 and 1.1 support was deprecated on LiveUpdate Servers per kb:
    https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/390360

NOTE: This changed on May 1st, so since your issue didn't start until June 9th I didn't think this was relevant.

For any others that look at this thread make sure to update your problem systems to TLS 1.2 (or higher) for best results.

    Best,

    Russ_V
