Subject:   JCLCheck 12.0 Continuous Delivery Feature PTF General Availability Announcement

On behalf of CA Technologies, a Broadcom Company, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success under the Continuous Delivery model, we are pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of the following:

Feature PTFs LU13164 + LU13165 - New MAXEXEC Runtime Option

JCLCheck provides a new MAXEXEC(1-255) runtime option which allows you to specify or limit the number of EXEC's or steps in a given job, within the existing 255 maximum.  The benefit is that organizations can lower the limit due to inline code adding EXEC statements, preventing potential abends due to added JCL.  If the number of steps is exceeded, an error message will be displayed in the step that exceeded the limit, helping you pinpoint the issue more quickly.

Please review the JCLCheck solution and MAXEXEC Runtime Option in the Reference section of the product documentation.  You can find the JCLCheck 12.0 documentation at techdocs.broadcom.com/JCLCheck
