  • 1.  Issue cancelling SSIS job using dtexec

    Posted Jun 10, 2024 03:30 AM

    HI Team

The customer is using DTexec command line with the relevant parameters to execute a SSIS package in a Windows job.

When they try to cancel a task the tasks ends in Automic but the back-end process is still running.

Any ideas how to overcome this?

    Regards

    Klaus

    HI Klaus,
This topic is covered in the Automic Help for Windows Agents.
Have you tried playing with the 'Use Windows OS Job Object' setting?

    HI Kay

    Thank you for the response.

    I missed that setting.

I requested the customer to test.

    Thanks

    Klaus
