    We use PagerDuty for any alerts, and it can send a voice alert.

    is this pagerduty  tied with UC4 ? or its standalone application ?

    Hi Deepak,

    Automic does not deliver any software to send voice alerts. However Automic can integrate with CTI interfaces. Most of the telephony providers offer APIs to automate calls and interact with telephony systems. One of our customers has implemented an integration where whenever an important task fails during night time, Automic calls a CTI integration to make a call to the on-duty person. The on-call person is required to acknowledge the call by pressing a certain number after accepting the call, otherwise Automic will call again or even escalate to another number. The implementation is based on the Automic REST agent orchestrating the REST interface of a CTI integration.

    PagerDuty is a third party application:   https://www.pagerduty.com/

    The CALL object is setup to send an email to PagerDuty when there is an ABORT or a long running job.  The email contains the name of the object having the issue.

    In turn, PagerDuty has the ability to call and/or send a text message, and it can also call a second number.  I have it setup to call my work and personal cellphone.

    Pager Duty also keeps a schedule/calendar that automatically rotates the on-call staff
