Interface related alarm are falling in interface name

Hi All,

 All our interface related alerts (performance alerts from PM + Bad Link ) are coming on interface model name instead of actual device model name . How to insert all the alerts on actual device name.

That's because the interface is a significant element in fault isolation and root cause analysis. Read this thread and this technical document.

Performance alerts will always be displayed at interface level, as there's a relation between each interface in Spectrum and its corresponding element in PM. 

The event/alarms are also relevant in terms of alarm reporting, as per interface alarms might indicate a faulty component.
