I downloaded it to my PC. I see the same when opening the file in notepad++. I will try and upload it again to the system using =6 and transfer and double check my setting.

Good morning Leroy,
If you check your CAS9SCRT file at your PC, how does it show then?
Is it like this formatted:

I used notepad++ and show all characters...
If you then upload it as text file with ebcdic - ascii translation to your CAW0OPTV dataset, all should be fine.
Or did you download it directly to your z/OS environment?
Regards

This is the current CAW0OPTV DS Information, and the 2nd SS is the DS Information from the new CAS9SCRT file provided by Broadcom that I downloaded, and then uploaded to our Mainframe. They're both VB.

Hi Leroy,
Please check the DCB of your CAW0OPTV dataset...
Possibly this dsn is an FB-80 PDS..
This PDS should be allocated to VB-256-32760...
Best regards

Hello.
I have uploaded the CAS9SCRT file to our Mainframe (zOS 2.5) but I am having troubling getting it into the CAW0OPTV location without it being truncated. I have tried OCOPY and OGET without success. It there a job in the CASP.COMMSERV dataset that can be modified to copy the CAS9SCRT into CAW0OPTV without it being truncated?

Subject: Important Announcement regarding Broadcom SCRT Report Management
Hello SCRT Report Management Users,
Starting October 2024, the Broadcom SCRT Report Management submission process will require a minimum version of the Broadcom SCRT Product Catalog XML file. This file uniquely identifies the Broadcom products when you use the IBM Sub-Capacity Reporting Tool (SCRT) to generate a Broadcom ISV SCRT report.
The required minimum catalog level is version 14. If you submit a report that was generated with an earlier version, you will receive a warning.
Starting as early as November 2024, the warning will be changed to an error and the reports will be rejected unless they are generated with the minimum catalog level of 14.
The catalog file is shipped as part of the Common Components and Services for z/OS. You can find this file in the CAS9SCRT member of the CAW0OPTV data set. You can obtain the latest version of this member by applying solution LU13705.
If you cannot apply the required maintenance, you can get the latest version of the CAS9SCRT file here.
