Guidance Required for Configuring AutoSys 12 DR Environment After Cloning from DC Setup

  • 1.  Guidance Required for Configuring AutoSys 12 DR Environment After Cloning from DC Setup

    Hello All,

I have an existing AutoSys 12 environment deployed in a Data Center (DC), running on Windows Server. The setup includes the Primary and Secondary instances of EEM, WCC, and Scheduler, all connected to an MSSQL database.

I need to set up a Disaster Recovery (DR) environment by cloning the current DC setup to a different server with different hostnames.

Could someone please provide guidance on the necessary configuration changes required in the DR environment after cloning, to ensure AutoSys 12 functions correctly with both Primary and Secondary components?

    Regards,

    Siva.

    Hi Siva Shankar,

Would you clone the DB as well or it stays intact? Cloning the engines (Scheduler, Application Server) may not be a challenge. The main challenge would be around EEM, you'll need to regenerate the certs (autosys_secure) with the new EEM hostname. Also, unsure how the agents will start connecting to the new Scheduler hosts. You may have to clear the ujo_ha_process and ujo_ma_process tables before starting the services on the DR setup. Best is to raise a support case and seek guidance.

    Thanks
