General Availability Announcement for Symantec Advanced Authentication Service Pack 9.1.05

Dear Symantec Advanced Authentication customer,

On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. Today, we are pleased to announce that Symantec Advanced Authentication Service Pack 9.1.05 is now available. Please find the GA announcement link.

 

Symantec Advanced Authentication Service Pack 9.1.05 includes:

 

1. Support for iOS simulators in the AuthID iOS SDK. If you create a client app using the latest version of the AuthID iOS SDK, you can run it on an iOS simulator.
2. Ability for an admin to programmatically upload list data for add-on risk rules using the REST API. 
3. Support for up to 4 billion devices in the Risk Authentication server. 
4. Support for the following new platforms:
   1. Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 9.x
   2. IBM Websphere 9.0.5.17, Jboss EAP 7.4, and additional versions of Tomcat 9.x.
   3. Oracle Unified Directory 12.2.1.4
   4. Client packages and apps certified on iOS 17 and Android 14
5. Updated third-party libraries. Multiple third-party libraries are updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.
6. Consolidated Issue Fixes. This release contains fixes for issues and vulnerabilities found since the last release.

Broadcom will no longer be developing feature enhancements after this release of Advanced Authentication. Broadcom will continue to support the existing product functionality and provide required third-party library and platform updates. We encourage you to plan to upgrade to this latest version of Advanced Authentication. 

 

Broadcom continues to invest in the enterprise authentication security solution space. We are adjusting our strategy to focus more on the modern solutions of VIP SaaS and VIP Authentication Hub.
