Expanding volume range in TLMS VMF

    Hi ,

    I'm in process of adding a new volume range to TLMS .

    We have IBM TS7760T VTL and I would like to check what is the correct way to add the new range , taking into consideration that TLMS , IBM TCDB (SYS1.VOLCAT.VGENERAL) and TS7760T Library Manager is involved .

    1) stop all tape activities .

    2) perform a new VMF initialization , current VMF backup and restor to new VMF .

    3) perform IDCAMS 'create volumeentry' all new range volumes .

    4) should an Insert process for new volumes' range be performed in IBM TS7760T ?
