    On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services.  As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that ESP dSeries Workload Automation 25.0.00 is now available. 

     

     

     

    New features for ESP dSeries Workload Automation 25.0.00 include: 

    1. Real-Time Agent Monitoring (Ping Agent)
    Monitor agent health in real-time using the new Ping Agent capability. It enables administrators to validate agent responsiveness through heartbeat-based ping requests, offering immediate insight into agent availability.

    2. CLI Support for Personal Access Tokens (PATs)
    Interact with REST APIs securely using Personal Access Tokens. CLI commands are now available to manage and configure PATs, offering a secure and efficient authentication mechanism.

    3. Secure Server-Client Communication (SSL/TLS)
    All communications between server, clients, and agents now support SSL/TLS encryption, ensuring secure transmission of sensitive data and reinforcing compliance and security standards.

    4. Enhanced Event Search (FindEvent Option)
    Quickly locate and manage events using the new FindEvent capability. Users can search for events on the same server using filters like name, schedules, calendars, agent name, javascript, target application/report/forecast name streamlining event management.

    5. Strengthened Security & Audit Compliance
    The release includes several enhancements to support security and compliance requirements:

    Enforced password complexity and history

    Password expiry policies

    Login failure monitoring

    6. Export Artifacts to CSV
    You can now export artifact data-including Custom Views, Jobs, Events, Agent Management info and other artifacts in services perspective-to CSV files from the Desktop Client, simplifying reporting and analysis.

    7. HTTPS Mode for Embedded REST Server
    The embedded REST server can now operate in HTTPS mode, offering encrypted, secure communication between REST clients and the server.

    8. macOS Support for Desktop Client
    The Desktop Client is now available for macOS, offering parity with the Windows version to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.

    9. Agent Heartbeat Monitoring Improvements

    Improved Agent status checks now leverage parallel processing, leading to faster and more efficient heartbeat validation. Enhanced status details provide richer insights.

    10. Improved Job Search (Find Jobs)
    The Find Jobs feature now includes:

    Expanded filtering options -

    Component-based job searches (scripts, resources, etc.)

    Export to CSV for easier analysis

    11.Java 17 Certification
    This release officially supports Java 17, replacing Java 1.8. Customers can benefit from Java 17's performance, security, and long-term support.

    12.Network Resiliency Enhancements
    The system now automatically detects and recovers from communication disruptions between the server and critical components such as databases, LDAP and agents, reducing downtime.

    13.Application Generation Details
    Now includes user and timestamp information for generated applications, enhancing traceability and operational insight.

    14.Expanded REST API Capabilities
    REST APIs now support a broader set of actions, including both job-level and application-level operations for greater automation flexibility.

    15.Enhanced Audit Logging
    Audit logs now capture the IP address of the source issuing the request, improving traceability and compliance.

    16.Encrypted Passwords in imexutil
    The imexutil import/export tool now supports encrypted passwords, enhancing security during data transfers.

    17.JobMap CLI: New ignoreRunSchedules Option
    Generate job maps with or without considering run schedules using the new ignoreRunSchedules parameter. Output can also be exported to CSV.

    18.REST API Authentication Update
    Basic authentication is no longer supported. Use Bearer token authentication for stronger security and improved High Availability connections to servers.

    19.Mandatory Service Configuration Post-Installation
    When installing on Linux , service configuration is now required to ensure the server is installed as a system service and starts according to the defined mode.

    20. Enhanced migration visibility

     Migration console and log updates now provide real-time progress, offering better insights into artifact and history data transfers
