Enhanced Password Phrase Usage

To ensure that your environment is protected, enforcing sensible password policies is critical. ACF2 lets you define password and password phrase options that provide the added security that is required to secure your sensitive data. 

The following support has been added to enhance the password phrase feature:

• Restrict the use of reserved words in a password phrase. Each word can be from four- to fourteen-characters in length and cannot contain spaces. For more information, see Password Phrase Reserved Word List (PWPRESWD), Password Phrase Record (PWPHRASE), and SHOW Subcommand - All Other Settings.
• Restrict the use of the ACF2 logonid user's name in their password phrase. The password phrase cannot contain a user's full or partial name, depending on the GSO PWPHRASE record setting. For more information, see Password Phrase Record (PWPHRASE) and SHOW Subcommand - All Other Settings.
• Restrict the use of sequential characters and numbers in a user's password phrase. The password phrase can contain sequential characters and numbers within the allowed limit, depending on the GSO PWPHRASE record setting. For more information, see Password Phrase Record (PWPHRASE) and SHOW Subcommand - All Other Settings.
