Hi James,
Thank you for the enhancement suggestion. I am looking into this requirement - currently EZYEDIT simply invokes the VIEW service using the ISPF SELECT API. But there may be additional parameters we could supply on the invocation that would allow for the support you suggest.
As an alternative to using View on the EZYEDIT data set list, you could use the EZYEDIT member list. This provides additional views on the member list as well as supporting Edit or View and many other line commands. You would get the EZYEDIT MSL by simply positioning the cursor on the line of the data set you want to access and then hit enter.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Subject: Enhance EZEDIT 3.4 View command
Under ISPF 3.4, I can View a dataset and still edit a member of the PDS.
In EZEDIT data set list (3.4 clone), when I View a dataset, I cannot edit a member of the PDS.
Since this functionality is allowed under ISPF 3.4 and I have apparently gotten used to it, Using EZEDIT has been frustrating for me.
Please change this behavior to be more like ISPF and at least allow me the ability to edit a member even if I am in View on the dataset. I am not looking for total support for all that ISPF 3.4 can do. Just the edit ability.
