EDM policy exceptions

I've an EDM policy in Symantec DLP. can i add documents like payslips to exceptions using IDM profiles

Hi Akash, 

Yes you can. I am assumin for email policy however this can be done for web as well.

to test

1. just create an EDM Rule in Detection tab and then add an IDM Exception using test document (set minimum document exposure as per your requirement). 
2. Send an email without test IDM document. it should generate an incident.
3. send an email with tes IDM document (must be more then your minimum exposure limit) this will not generate the incident.
