I was checking the UIM hotfix index and noticed there is yet another nas version released; 23.4.3.2. What is the difference compared to 23.4.3.1?

Hi Garin,
Regarding step 7, Remove the .db files from the nas probe directory - is this actually necessary? I am asking because obviously the database.db file has the status of all alerts and related triggers/profiles and the transactionlog.db has the history of each alert. Deleting these two files will eliminate all history of the triggering of profiles and so will cause them all to be created new and retriggered. It also creates a huge issue around closing open alerts if you are forwarding those alerts to some other system - like service now for instance. For me that represents identifying a way to manually manage the duplication of 3,500 alerts which will be a huge mess considering that the old alerts are owned and the new alerts will represent a duplication of effort with potentially deleterious effects.
>>>Understood. The reason I mentioned that step was due to another iteration of the nas 23.4.3 failing for another customer. I included it but when I tested it, I did not remove my *.db files. I would consider this optional if the rest of the steps are sufficient to fix the nas 23.4.3 based on the final behaviour, such as responsiveness, no replication alarms, ability to start the nas, open the GUI, and a clean log output.
In step 9, While holding down the SHIFT key, double-click the nas probe, what does this achieve? I recall it from the distant past but don't remember the effect.
>>>Holding down the SHIFT key and double-clicking forces a new fetch of the nas configuration. I included that since at first my nas session was a bit slow, was syncing somewhat slowly, and eventually opened within 30 seconds or so, but afterward it was noticeably improved.
And in a nas replication environment, what is the required order of applying this update? i.e., is it ok to leave the other nas instances at 23.4.2 while running this new one do all instances need to be the same version or is it OK to mix?
>>>I'm not sure since I didn't test that combination, but as long as there are no instances of the original 23.4.3, it should work as expected. That said, best practice is to run the same nas version.
I just recently upgraded one of my labs to test and update the HA failover and HA guide which includes replication, so if I run into any issues with nas 23.4.3.1 I'll update this thread.

Thank you for posting this here.
I have a couple questions:

The attached update nas 23.4.3.1 will resolve this issue. This has been tested in a lab running DX UIM 23.4 CU3.
Steps to deploy the update:
- Download the nas hotfixed version 23.4.3.1
- Select the Archive icon in IM and rt-click to Import it into your local archive on the Primary hub
- Deploy it to the Primary hub or Secondary if you have nas running on a Secondary hub
- Using Raw configure, set the loglevel to 3 for each nas instance
- Under nas setup, add a logsize key and set it to 5000
- Deactivate the nas
- Remove the .db files from the nas probe directory
- Activate the nas
- While holding down the SHIFT key, double-click the nas probe
- The nas should open successfully and run without errors/issues
