  • 1.  Discovery NFA

    Dear community, could you guide me? I am integrating equipment to NFA, since the equipment administrator is sending me the snmp (the community answers with snmget) and the flows are being sent from the device. What else could I check since it is not reflected in the console?

    Hi Jose, 

    You can try below:

    1. Check for any errors in the log file: <install_path>\NetFlow\Logs\harvester-wrapper.log,
    2. Check for HarvesterFlowProcessor Statistics in the above logfile. If the flows are being received by the harvester, you should see the received packets numbers.
    3. Also below KB would be helpful to identify whether the netflow enabled devices are sending the correct fields:         https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?articleId=11095

    Thanks for your reply. Do you know if there is an alternative to Wireshark, since my client does not allow the use of Wireshark for security reasons?

    When you test SNMP, make sure you are testing it between the Harvester machine itself and the device.  If they harvester can't poll a device it will go into "RebootRefresh" status:
