    When we perform the Demote Process from a specific state to the previous state, the following error message appears.
    let me know  what the problem is?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We have few questions here.

    1.Are you demoting one or multiple packages to the previous state.?

    (If yes ,is it possible to try one at a time to isolate the problem further.?)

    2.After promoting the package/(s) in your earlier steps , are there any changes included to the same versions through another package.?

    3.The causative factors could be most likely version conflict which violates the version control sequence ,say for ex: dependent versions etc
