Hi,
The email templates are always taken from the database. You are free to
delete templates stored on disk. However, if you wish to delete the email
template from the database, ensure that you are not referring to the email
template for any job and then delete the glob using JIL.
Regards,
*Venkat*

Subject: Delete a Notification Template
We have 3 Notification email templates that I would like to remove/delete. I cannot find any specific instructions in Broadcom documentation on how to do this, so created a case with Broadcom and am a bit surprised by the response. Could you please confirm the information that was provided to me is correct?
On case 160009520, I was informed that "to remove them by going to $AUTOSYS/install/email_templates (UNIX) or %AUTOSYS%\install\email_templates (Windows) directory" and "delete manually the email template." "There is no wizard for the deletion."
This surprised me because when the templates were created, I believe a database entry was created in the UJO_GLOBBLOB table. I can't see how manually deleting a file will clean up the data base as well. I also see in the AutoSys Workload Automation 12.0.01 manual, there is a delete_glob subcommand, which sounds like it should delete everything that the insert_glob command would create.
Could you please either confirm the information provided in the Broadcom case is correct, or provide correct instructions to remove notification templates?
Thank you
