Datacom GA announcement: Close direct access to Datacom LXX files (SECINT PTF # LU16040)

Hello Datacom CADRE Community members,
As part of our enable strategy, the Datacom team is pleased to announce the general availability of the new SECINT PTF LU16040!

Feature Overview            
This new SECINT PTF prevents the use of READRXX API to directly access LXX (log files) while continuing to allow reading of RXX (recovery files).

Key Benefits
The PTF LU16040 addresses any potential data integrity problems that could arise as a result of unauthorized/unapproved access and replication of in-flight transactions.

Note
If you want to access committed change records from the LXX (log file), you may use one of the following two supported methods

1. Datacom Change Data Capture facility
2. Use Datacom's DBUTLTY SPILL function to transfer data from the Log Area (LXX) to the Recovery File (RXX) and then use READRXX API that is designed to read these recovery files
