Hello, OPS/MVS community! With the release of feature PTF LU14934, OPS/MVS 14.0 provides you with more accurate measurements of processing time for AOF rules by calculating CPU time for enabled rules. You can access CPU time measurements for rules in the following ways:
- Use the ADDRESS AOF LISTINST host environment command to return statistics about an enabled rule. The lowest, highest, and average measures of CPU time used to process the rule have been added to the command output. For more information, see ADDRESS AOF LISTINST -- List Enabled Rule Statistics.
- From an OPSLOG Browse panel, use the
DISPLAY
command to add a RuleCPU column to your OPSLOG Browse display. The column displays the total amount of CPU time that was used to process rules for an event. For more information, see DISPLAY Command -- Change OPSLOG Browse Display Format.
- When you generate the AOFEVENT Segment of the Automation Statistics Report, the Rule Firing Statistics section now displays the total amount of CPU time and the average amount of CPU time used to process an enabled rule. For an example of the report, see Generate the AOFEVENT Segment.
