Estimated community, you can change the time when the portal changes the reverse, by default it seems to be in 2 months

Hi Jose, NetOps Portal passwords expire after 105 days ( out of the box setting ). You may change this behaviour by following the available documentation: Configure Password Security Settings.

Hi Jose, 

it is a command line tool (SsoConfig) available in NetOps Portal host. Full details here.

You need to open a terminal session against NetOps Portal host and  launch the utility, then select Local Password Authentication --> Password Lifespan . You'll be able to specify the number of days after which passwords expire.

I have a question: I was looking for the role permission that would allow me to configure the security part, and I don't see it. This could be because of the version of my PM, which is 20.2.1.0.

There is no role right for Security Settings page.  Anyone with administrator role access can edit/view it.

And I'm not sure we had a Security Settings page in 20.2, as I believe it was introduced in 21.2.

I looked in the DX NetOps Performance Management - 20.2 documentation in the Configure the Password Security Settings section and it mentioned that menu and also Password Management but I can't find it or if there is something additional that needs to be done to see that menu.

You need to use /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter/SsoConfig.  Select option number for:  NetOps Portal Local Password Authentication
