  • 1.  Central Audit Trail on Dollar Universe

    Hi,

    we try to centralise the audit trail of each nodes.

    Is it something possible?

    We want to catch all event for the objects...

    On the node I tried uxlst AUDIT like on the UVMS but I get "Access denied error
    command in error!!"

    Any advise of how to have a centralised view?

    Thanks in advance,

    Yves

    Bonjour,

    Pour ma part, la commande uxlst audit fonctionne parfaitement :
    $ uxlst audit help
    List Audit trail

    uxlst AUDIT
    [NODE]= format:64c default:S_NOEUD or S_NODENAME
    [EXP | SIM | INT | APP] default:S_ESPEXE
    [OBJTYPE]= format:10c *
    [SINCE]=(U_FMT_DATE,hhmm)
    [BEFORE]=(U_FMT_DATE,hhmm)
    [OUTPUT]=file_name
    [SEP]=

    On obtient cela :

    $ uxlst audit
    Commande : uxlst audit objtype=*

    DATE TIME OBJTYPE OBJID ACTION USERTYPE USER GROUP LOGIN HOSTNAME ORIGIN
    ----------------- -------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- -------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------

    As @Gilles deBuzonniere has mentioned, the command should work on your Dollar Universe node. If you are getting the "Access denied" message, it is likely because you are using an unauthorized user (or your node is down). You can check your System User Patterns to allow CLI access to users.

    However, your question also mentioned centralization of the Audit Trail data. It is possible to store this information in a central database (MS SQL or Oracle) using Reporter v6. Please see here for details:
