Autosys R12 agent installation on RHEL 9.3

Hi All,

Does anyone encountered ""Post-Install: Creation of encryption key failed" " while installing Autosys R12 agent on RHEL9  and how was it fixed.

We tried to follow the below resolution and increase the Entropy value before re attempting another install, However Linux vendor confirms that starting from RHEL 9 entropy value is fixed (256) and cannot be updated. So wanted to check if any one successfully tried installing R12 agent on RHEL9.*

Status: FATAL ERROR
Additional Notes: FATAL ERROR - "Post-Install: Creation of encryption key failed"

Cause

Entropy is likely too low. Entropy must be minimum 3000 or higher.

Resolution

• cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail
• If value of above is below 3000, System Admin will need to increase.
• While you're waiting on SA to verify and fix entropy, you can remove the r12 agent and perform reinstall once entropy has been increased.

I would try the latest R12.1.1 agent and see if that does not resolve the problem.
12.0 agent is not supported on RHEL 9
