  • 1.  Autosys primary service not starting after a post reboot of server.

    Hi Team,

    Autosys primary scheduler service not starting after a post reboot. it is an immediate failback mode and its not taking the load from shadow scheduler.

    the below logs has been generated :

    Hi Ramesh,

    The first thing I would check, is if you have the same failback settings in all config files.  I have seen this happen in several cases.

    If that looks, correct, I would open a ticket with support to help troubleshoot.

    Wonder what went wrong w/ the database query. 

    [18/06/2025 21:52:04]     CAUAJM_E_00171 Database error encountered while trying to determine if Scheduler is already running, Startup aborted.

    Maybe the Scheduler didn't shutdown gracefully during last reboot, so it is trying to check if the Primary Scheduler is already up. Are you using any Microsoft cluster services for failover?
