Automic agent Kafka

Hello,

Have anyone tried installing the Automic agent for Kafka that was released under V21 ? Is there an installation Video for this ? I read through the documentation and its too much of information to handle.

please follow the provided installation steps at https://docs.automic.com/documentation/webhelp/english/ALL/components/IG_KAFKA/latest/Agent%20Guide/Content/Apache_Kafka/Kafka_Installing.htm?tocpath=Installing%20the%20Agent%7C_____0

1. check installed Java version and make sure Java 11 or 17 is available/configured for the user who will execute the Agent
2. unpack the Agent's zip-file
3. depending on your operating system create the Agent's config-file based on the template
4. configure the Agent
   1. set the name
   2. set the connection to the AE (system, connection)
   3. if required trustedCertFolder, keyPassword
5. Configure the parameters for accessing your Kafka environment by modifying/creating server.properties
6. Start the Agent
   1. if needed switch the user who designed to start the Agent (java -jar ucxjkafka.jar)
   2. observe the log-files
7. after the Agent connects successfully login to Client 0 and make the Agent accessible to the desired client(s)
8. login to your Client and create Jobs based on the provided types (Producer, Consumer)
9. set the Job's properties accordingly
10. optional create a proper Service Manager entry so the Agent gets started automatically
