This post describes high level steps for a full SaaS integration between AppNeta and Automic.

    Valuable for

    • Automate responses to Network change events

    • Significantly decrease MTTR / MMTI

    Steps:

    1. Configure AppNeta Observer API to send outbound webhooks to Google function endpoint. More info on AppNeta Event integration here
    2. Define a Google Cloud Function (you will need access to a GCP project)  with an HTTP trigger that will respond to incoming webhooks from AppNeta. Attached to this post there is a "Main.py" sample that can be used as reference.
The function will read AppNeta incoming event payload, extract some fields and use them to prepare the API call to invoke Automic workflow via API.
    3. Define the Automic workflow that will be triggered via API from Cloud Function. This Action Pack can be used as reference. This workflow should read fields of the incoming API call from Cloud Function and execute any kind of automation (troubleshooting, enriching, configuration or provisioning).

Note that Google Cloud Function first 2 million invocations per month are free, but there are other factors that can impact cost. More info here.
