Any alternate script function of x_adopt_task available in V12.3.4 Automation Engine ?

Hello Experts, Good day!!

In our old script there was a function x_adopt_task used in a script object. It was used to Take over tasks at the runtime.

This process was stopped & marked INACTIVE in past.

To resume the activity, I was wondering if we could validate if it's a documented function but could not find any document around. 

Would anybody guide me with any available info on this please?

Hello Christoph,

Thanks for the above info. I also see the function in UC4 DB but I am not able to use it. 
If we use x_adopt_task its throwing following error. 
Error : "You do not have the necessary authorization for this instruction."
Any idea / available documents how to get this going ?
