  • 1.  Agent Linux startup error

    Posted Feb 10, 2025 04:19 AM
    Hello everyone,
waiting for your help, I am attaching a couple of logs with the idea of investigating an error that we could not solve to start a Linux agent. Could it be a certificate problem?
How to solve it? Thank you Regards

    Santiago,

Did You solved windows Issue  ? seems that You use same  Automation Engine? there you had certificate issue also.

On linux its different error , that I had  before, and it is related to keystore entries.

Check in config file that You typed corectly  alias  name from keystore file.
Alias in certificate is not  as alias  name  in keystore.
alias entry in config file  is case sensitive. and must  match certificate assigned to it.  in your case AE machine.
you should check  ucsrv.ini  on Automation Engine side.

Thanks Mladen, We are still waiting to hear back on any proposed changes
based on your recommendations from Friday. The machines are in an
outsourcing service outside the facilities of the end customer. We do
not have direct access and therefore we do not apply the changes. The
Linux agent error now reported is a log we just received. Thank you very
much for your very quick response and help.

    Hi,

the CN in the AE JCP server certificate has to match exactly pcuc4001.imi.bcn.

Also, from another post I saw that 2217 is a CP, not a JCP. Pls remove the line with 2217 from the JCP List as @Michael Dolinek pointed out.

    20250205/120450.902 - JCP1=pcuc4001.imi.bcn:2217
    20250205/120450.902 - JCP2=pcuc4001.imi.bcn:2218
    20250205/120450.902 - JCP3=pcuc4001.imi.bcn:2219
    20250205/120450.902 - JCP4=pcuc4001.imi.bcn:2220
    20250205/120450.902 - JCP5=pcuc4001.imi.bcn:2221
    20250205/120450.902 - JCP6=pcuc4001.imi.bcn:2222
