    Hi
I'm trying to update our Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager with a new Package
I have downloaded the package & try to import it.
The process starts & seems to be progressing but fails.. see attached screen shots below.

I have followed the instructions on the website Add a Client Install Package<https: techdocs.broadcom.com us en symantec-security-software endpoint-security-and-management endpoint-protection all dialog-overview cs-admin-page-install-packages-v14650803-d21e4696 add-a-client-install-package-v8877235-d21e5371.html> but it not very helpful.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Hubert,

Thanks for using the Broadcom Community Forum!

Unfortunately, I'm unable to see your provided images so I will do my best to answer your question.

In order to import a client package into the SEPM manager, I would suggest you follow the steps outlined here:
    https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/152096/manually-import-client-packages-into-end.html
NOTE: You'll want to import the ".info" files from the SEPM manager packages folder to get that done.

However, I would advise against importing a later version of client than you have SEPM manager as this is NOT best practice.

Instead, if you need a later version of SEP client, we suggest you upgrade your SEPM manager to that version first.  As you do, this will automatically  import the new client packages for you during your SEPM upgrade.

If you continue to have issues kindly open a case with Support.

    Thanks,

    Russ_V
