23.4CU2 Metric Views Issues

1. Creating a Metric View (MV) on a Group requires selecting the devices from a list for the view.  There is a top box for select all.  If you don't select anything you cannot move on to the next screen.  My point being is if you select all, that view is tied to ONLY the devices that were available in the selection list at the time of creating the view.  If the group has any devices added later on, that MV will not contain those new members.    I have tested this and found new members to the group are not selected in the MV's.  I get it, some MV's you don't want applied to all members but there's no option to create a MV that does apply to all members at all times and this also impacts MV's scheduled that need dynamic updating based on the group membership. If not, it creates wasted cycles on administrators to constantly update MV's.
2. When creating a MV on a single device in Inventory then copying that MV to a very large number of other devices, the copy operation seems be incomplete as there are a lot of devices it never gets copied to (for example: OS name contains windows)(this behavior reminds me of 20.x days of applying MCS profiles to a group with large membership and the policies get applied to some of the members and not all even though all members met the criteria).  Why am I doing this? When end users want to see basic foundational metrics for a device beyond the 24hrs seen in the default view they need to go to Metric Views but OOB Metrics screen does not contain any MV's.  I must create a few basic ones for CPU/Memory, Disk, Processes, Services, Networks and distribute them to every device (yes I break them up into logical groupings because historically MV's with more than handful of metrics tend to choke the dashboards).  If I don't then I have to create or copy them on the fly on request when someone is triaging, [triage is not the time] to be slowed down doing tasks like this that should have been oob.

Am I missing some step or is this really the limited behavior and performance of Metric Views?

Behavior in #1 has been confirmed long ago by support as working as designed but it's pretty useless as is. There should be an idea related to making the selection of system dynamic at run time using the filter as opposed to what's there at design time.
