We have a need to migrate TeraData to Oracle. I saw "TeraData Insert Data - Data Reader", but it looks more like a Data Writer.
I wonder if we can use the DataReader (GridTools.Javelin.Designer.DbActivities.DataReaderActivity) block to read TeraData? We use LDAP to authenticate to the TeraData DB.
I wonder if I use the DataReader, and install the dot-Net's TeraData provider will help, and add "TeraData" in the Provider field will help? Anyone did this before?
DataReaderActivity is only for MSSQL, DB2 and Oracle. If you still need that functionality I can provide you an extension to use it for TeraData.
Please let me know.
Good morning Cihan,
Yes, please, I love to have that extension. How can I get it from you?
Sorry for the late response. Can you please send me an email?
So I can send you the extension. After your approval on if worked or not we can share that extension on here for others to use.
Thank you very much Cihan, your extension works like a charm!
Attached is the extension developed by Cihan that he would like to share with the community.
You will need this .Net package for TeraData installed first:
