  • 1.  Why is BOP-LOGIN crashing intermittently in SDM 12.9?

    Posted Nov 20, 2018 11:01 PM

Is there a patch for SDM 12.9 and where can I download it?

We have just started seeing an issue whereby BOP-LOGIN process is crashing  every few hours. When this happens users are unable to log in. Restarting services is usually the only way to get the users to be able to log in again.

I see that this was an issue in previous SDM versions and patches were provided.

    Thanks!

    Hi Moe,

I checked our internal patch matrix. The USRD1459 issue you pointed out is included in the GA version of SDM r12.9. There were other later fixes, e.g. USRD1620 addressing a similar issue in the CP1 patch for r12.9.

Considering this version is outdated and no longer supported, I'd say upgrade to latest version. Then if you still have the same issue, you will be able to log support cases to get assistance.
