  • 1.  Linux SSH connection is disconnecting automatically from PAM

    Hi Team,

     

    Iam connecting Linux server through ssh connection from PAM. But after 1 minute of idle time it is disconnecting automatically. I have checked the applet timeout and it is 120 min. Out side of PAM also i have checked that server using putty connection and it is working  fine. But whenever i takes from PAM then only i am getting this error.

     

    Please provide any solution for this?

    Bhumesh,

     

    There is not enough information in your description to make any type of assessment of your problem.   You have not mentioned what version of CAPAM and patch level your nodes are at, you have not included what type of setup you are using for the ssh sessions, is recording enabled, what do the Session log messages say, screenshots of errors, Java console logs or the Client logs.log.

     

    Please do not reply further to this post, it would be better to open a case due to this not being something that can be worked on through this community post.

    Hi Bumesh, this is unlikely to be a problem with PAM. PuTTY has a keep-alive option and my guess is that your PuTTY client has this configured. PAM does not send keep-alives. It would defeat the applet timeout setting. Most likely either your target device(s) or a firewall somewhere along the way drops inactive connections after one minute.
