  • 1.  Does Automic has similar capabilities than Control-M on Workload Automation?

    Hi Community,

    I would like to know if Automic have similar capabilities than Control-M to automate job schedulling related to SQL Server (SSIS) and SFTP File Transfers.

    I do not have any Control-M experience.  But we do use Automic to schedule and run our SFTP file transfers and our SQL Server (SSIS) packages.

    The RA-SFTP tools in Automic are pretty nice.  I call it our "FTP wizard" tool.  But there is no out-of-the-box solution specific to SSIS.  We invoke SQL Server packages via a generic SQL Server database job object.

    We have a so-called RA FTP agent to run FTP, FTPS, FTPES and SFTP jobs and a database agent to run SSIS packages.
